Anthony McDonald – Chief Executive Officer
Anthony McDonald is the Chief Executive Officer and an Executive Director of PrimeSpace and is responsible for the strategic and business direction of PrimeSpace. As CEO, Anthony manages the pipeline of investment opportunities and is responsible for identifying, acquiring and structuring property investment opportunities, along with overseeing investment due diligence, compliance, risk management and the operation of funds.
Anthony is experienced in all facets of the property investment lifecycle from syndicates, joint ventures and property funds for both residential and commercial developments. Anthony has an extensive background in accounting, taxation consultancy, business strategy and valuations over 20 years. Prior to joining PrimeSpace Anthony commenced his career with Deloittes before becoming a partner with local Canberra accounting firm Cuthel & Bigg, which merged with WalterTurnbull in 2000.
Anthony received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Canberra and is a Chartered Accountant, Registered Tax Agent and Registered Company Auditor. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Property Council of Australia.
Andrew Males – Fund Manager
Andrew Males is the Fund Manager of the Prime Access Property Fund and is responsible for its day to day management and operation. Andrew’s role encompasses portfolio construction and implementation of investment strategy and monitoring, managing the performance of the Fund, capital raising, along with investor management and reporting. Andrew also provides strategic input into the direction of PrimeSpace and is responsible for the compliance management functions of the business.
Andrew has over 14 years experience in financial services which includes eight years in funds management. Prior to joining PrimeSpace Andrew was a founding employee of the Asia-Pacific office of the Wilshire Private Markets Group, a private equity funds management firm, where he spent seven years in investment and operational roles, most recently as Vice President responsible for the financial operation of a series of private equity funds of funds.
Andrew received his BA in Administration from the University of Canberra, has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and has recently completed his Master of Business with Distinction from the Australian National University. Andrew is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and an Affiliate of the Chartered Secretaries of Australia.
Sarah Duffield – Asset Manager
Sarah Duffield is responsible for the management of property assets within the portfolio, with particular emphasis on Canberra House.
Sarah’s responsibilities include managing all aspects of the property assets including the risks management and strategic development of the assets, leasing, project and contract management.
She is also responsible for site operations, compliance, OH&S and facilities staff management, and ensures the assets perform to budget.
