Investor eligibility criteria
Wholesale investor
An eligible ‘wholesale’, ‘sophisticated’ or ‘high net worth’ investor is one who satisfies the meaning of section 761(G) of the Corporations Act 2001 (the Act) and the Regulations under the Act.
A wholesale investor must mutually satisfy one of the following primary criteria:
- net assets of at least $2.5 million; or
- gross income for each of the last two (2) financial years of at least $250,000 a year; or
- subscribe for a minimum amount of $500,000.
A declaration of investor eligibility must be declared by the investor’s accountant or financial advisor on behalf of the investor to confirm criteria 1. or 2. above. A completed Declaration form must accompany a completed Application form. A Declaration from can be downloaded (Adobe PDF | 32kb).
Retail investor
Retails investors require no pre-requisite financial qualifications to invest in a retail fund.
An investor must be able to satisfy the minimum investment amount prescribed in the Offer document of an Unlisted Retail Fund.
